Faced with the task of creating an app that is meant to be non-linear and interactive, I conceptualized the idea of an app called, “Drop A Pin, Bro.” An app meant for skateboarders who travel, Drop A Pin, Bro, allows people to “drop pins,” at spots, parks, and DIY’s in their city. Making it more accessible to skaters traveling to find places to skate without having to dig through google maps. On these locations, other skaters can add tags that describe the spot, such as “crusty,” “lights until 10,” “ledge,” “bowl,” etc. Below the page of the skate spot, people can add clips of themselves skating, where people can interact with each other, making this a form of social media.
